Married! Kelly & Kevin | VMFA Virginia Museum of Fine Arts - Richmond, VA
Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at 11:06PM Phew! Where to start… Well, remember Kelly and Kevin’s awesome engagement session? The wedding finally came! I have only great things to say about this wedding and about Kelly and Kevin. Since I had met them, I felt like I had known them forever. I was so excited to photograph the wedding and still so excited about the photos (as you may notice, there might be a repeat offender image in there) :-)
You can certainly tell that Kelly and Kevin are head over heels for each other, I too am head over heels for them. I had so much fun capturing each moment with help from Lauren that I’d do it over again. As I took pictures I couldn’t wait to show someone. I just had to show Kelly’s mom, or brag to Lauren about a shot I had been able to take.
Aside from the technical photography details, it was really hard to take a bad photo, I mean, look at them! And look at the venue! They are such a great couple, and the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts was such a great place to take photos. Also, it’s where they had their first date!
I must say, one of my favorite moments or rather, my favorite moments period are when Kelly kisses Kevin. His face lights up like he’s a little kid opening presents of everything he asked for on Christmas morning.
AHHHHHH so many good things to say about this wedding and so many details I would love to rave about; the significance of the dimes, the cake made into a castle, the robin egg blue in each little detail we could find, the glow stick limbo :-) But, I’d rather stop talking and look at the photographs again.
Kelly and Kevin, you are both fabulous, and I absolutely LOVE both of you. I really would be honored at the chance to photograph your beautiful children someday!!
