Engaged! Kelly & Kevin + Picasso in the pocket | Richmond, VA

Have you ever been so speechless yet have so much to say? This is how Kelly and Kevin left me yesterday. What a great couple. Kelly and Kevin have been engaged almost a year, but I would have thought she said yes only days ago.

Their engagement session took place at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts in Richmond, VA, and it makes me look forward to their wedding even more. Their wedding this July will also be here, and at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart. An even better part about their upcoming wedding, is that in the reception space (where the Best Cafe is right now), no photographer has ever shot there yet. There have been events in a different hall, but I get to try out this space for the first time!

Why do I love Picasso in the pocket so much? Well, the two of them had to travel to Richmond from quite a distance, and the museum just so happened to have the Picasso exhibit up. They're traveling to France for their honeymoon - how perfect! 

I couldn't have asked for a better couple to work with. I'm so excited to have been able to meet not only Kelly and Kevin but her parents and the DJ too! Thanks to my friend Lauren too for coming to help, and to help assist come wedding day!

I can't wait for July!
