I'm not really this bitter..
Thursday, February 24, 2011 at 8:07PM If you've talked to me recently, I've probably bragged about my new camera. My new camera is lovely, and I'm a little obsessed. However! I've temporarily given up on Model Mayhem, and I'm waiting for some spring weddings to come along. I love Norfolk, but I really do miss being able to take the train anywhere, and take photos. I'd hop on the blue line to get from City Hall to 2nd and Market, or the Broad Street line to get me to South Street. In just 1 block, I'd have something new to look at and photograph.
Again I really do love Norfolk, but I do miss Philadelphia. Within a two mile walking distance here, I've got 2 places that I've visited countless times. I'm looking forward to the spring and summer in hopes people will crawl out of their caves and give me something to photograph.
As I try to find beauty in everything and everyone I take pictures of, I need people. People keep me motivated - sticks, flowers, and trees just aren't cutting it for me. Going overboard with the post is helping, but it's also slowing my old fart of a computer down, and getting me more wound up.
Anyhow, for those of you listening to my rant, I thank you. This post may look almost identical to a post from a few days ago, but cut me a break, and if you want something different to look at, jump in front of my camera!

This photo of the mango was an afterthought. I liked it (both the image and the mango itself), but I didn't feel it deserved a post of its own.
