Married! Kristine & Kevin | Virginia Living Museum - Newport News, Virginia

I've finally been able to post my weddings from the summer, and there wasn't a thing to be unhappy about at this one. Kristine, Kevin and I got together a few days before their wedding to do an engagement session, and it was SO hot outside (we're talking, 90+ degrees, with NO breeze). Their wedding finally rolled around and it was awesome. They were so easygoing, I felt like wer had been friends for a while.

The little details were so cute! Kristine made the cake toppers, and look at that floral arrangement! I've bever seen so many colors - needless to say, I was a happy camper. I have to thank John Cachero Photography for having sent Kristine and Kevin my way.

Engaged! Julz & Rhorie | Norfolk Yacht Club - Norfolk, Virginia

I had so much freakin' fun with Julz and Rhorie. The photos look like they were taken on an early summer day no? Just kidding! They were definitely taken at 9:30am on a chilly (understatement) October day. Rhorie is in medical school with my fiance, and that's how we came about engagement photos. 

Julz and Rhorie will be getting married in Richmond, VA, June of 2012. They've already picked the date, and she's found her dress! Much more progress than on my end.. My fiance and I have been engaged just over 4 months and we're still working on a date!

BTW.. Julz, where's that photo of the dress you were going to send me, and when are we doing our bridal shoot?! :-)

Porter Robinson, Tiesto, and Kevin Focus @ the Norfolk Scope | College Invasion Tour - Norfolk, Virginia

I'm not going to lie, I wouldn't have gone to this concert if it weren't for my fiance's taste in music. However, I had an amazing time with him, and these guys were awesome! Doesn't mean I don't like thi type of music - just wouldn't have been my first choice. Although, I've found myself listening to Porter Robinson all week!

I would have taken better quality photos if I had decided to bring my camera along. I wasn't about to have my camera get completely squashed and brought a point-and-shoot along. I still enjoy looking at them :-)

Anastasia K. | Fred Huette Center, Norfolk, VA

I seem to get lucky with these little pockets of Norfolk. Not to mention this crazy good-lookin' model! Anastasia and I met up via Facebook and quickly decided on our shoot. Since we both thought the turnout was good, we're already planning our next shoot! 

It's been a crazy few months with wedding season, and I'm glad that I was able to relax a bit and take photos without the rush. Anastasia was great, and so sweet - I loved her outfit choices! If she told you her age, well, you'd definitely think she was lying :-)
